Classes begin September 22 online and may transition to face-to-face instruction through May 4 as the district and COVID-19 allow. Sessions are held on Tuesdays 5-7pm and will be divided according to subject:
Fees: $500 annually (does not include optional tournament fees or summer camp)
Payment is due October 1. PayPal is preferred. No refunds will be made available after October 1. After registering, you will receive a verification email along with a PayPal invoice. A mailing address will be made available there should you choose to pay via check.

Coppell Debate Academy is directed by Ms. Glenda Ferguson. The former Debate Director at Coppell High School, she brings decades of experience in competitive speech and debate. Ms. Ferguson is one of the most highly awarded coaches in the country and ensures the highest quality of speech and debate education.
During the summer, Ms. Ferguson is joined by Dr. Jason Sykes. Dr. Sykes is the current Debate Director at Coppell High School. His students are highly decorated across several speech and debate events and at all levels - middle school through college, locally and nationally.
Together, Ms. Ferguson and Dr. Sykes work to secure some of the best teachers and assistants in the area.

Students improve skills in reading, writing, logic, and presentation. Our courses are designed to develop skills critical to future success in the classroom and the workplace.
Our staff takes the risks of COVID-19 seriously. Masks and distancing will be required by staff and students at all times. We will also employ a "clean team" to help ensure safety.
