Because our instruction centers around a competitive model, learners will not gain the full experience of competitive speech and debate without attending tournaments.
Tournaments offer vital opportunities for students to hone their skills and apply the work they do in classes throughout the year.
Tournaments are open to ALL students regardless of skill level. The earlier students begin competing, the faster and further they will develop.
This year, we will offer several tournaments in which students may participate. Tournament participation is optional and incurs additional fees.

*CDA Tournaments are 7:45am - 5:15pm.
All students compete in preliminary rounds and may leave upon elimination.
Parents are welcome but not required to stay.
